About

Therapeutic Center for Change

At the Therapeutic Center for Change, we believe that everyone can benefit from psychotherapy.

If you find yourself struggling with loss, stress, or any set back in life, counseling can allow you the opportunity to further examine and help clarify your thoughts and emotions. Therapy can help you identify the best possible steps forward to getting to the place you want to be.

If you are struggling with finding and maintaining healthy relationships, counseling can help you identify what your barrier might be. It can help you look at past and current relationships and help identify possible unconscious sabotaging of family, platonic, and romantic relationships.

For your mind to fully process events, thoughts, memories, more than one sensory component must be present. To further explain this, you can think about something over and over and it will not make a difference in you moving forward. This often leads to so much valid frustration or the thought of “why am I not in a better place with this yet?” “Why is this still bothering me so much?” You need to speak out loud to a neutral person to truly absorb and process this information to take the steps to move forward. Therapy is the biggest component to help with this.

If you feel that you are unfulfilled despite the appearance of success and happiness, therapy can help you determine what is missing despite having many positives in your life. This happens more than one may think, just because you may not have anything terrible or stressful in your life it doesn’t guarantee you will feel happy and content.

If you deal with mental or physical illnesses, especially chronic illness, therapy can help you address and manage symptoms, triggers to those symptoms, and other components that may be increasing unnecessary symptoms.
Therapy can also be beneficial in an accountability model. If you are happy and healthy but still struggle with committing and sticking to goals therapy can be a secondary enforcer to help you finally accomplish those goals.
